The Passion Of The Christ Sucks

A very atmospheric and moving film, The Passion of the Christ tests the viewers endurance of graphic illustration of blood and gore. The performances are very strong; aramaic as the main language does not hinder the movie experience - if anything, it enriches the viewing and brings out a whole new experience for the cinegoer. The music is fitting and very emotionally charged. I would say that though the ending is somewhat satisfying, I think it would’ve been made better if there was an extension to include Christ’s resurrection; this would’ve relieved the viewers from the otherwise harrowing events.
